The Mathematics Department of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa is pleased to announce that the registration for the PhD program is now open. The branches of the program are: “Algebra and Logic”, “Analysis and Geometry” and “Operations Research”. Subsequently, there exists the possibility of applying for a PhD scholarship (covering tuition fee and stipend) from FCT (the Portuguese national funding agency for science, research and technology). In the latter case, these scholarships will be hosted by the research center ``Centre for Mathematics and its Applications” (http://www.cma.fct.unl.pt/en) of the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa.
Deadlines:
PhD program: from 1st of May to 30th of June.
FCT scholarships: from 15th of June to 15th of July.
