The Department of Mathematics (DM) is located in Building VII of the Caparica Campus, which also houses the FCT/UNL Teaching Complex. The DM has three teaching laboratories and a computing centre, equipped with modern hardware and software, located on the second and first floors, respectively. The Computing Centre is for the exclusive use of students from the different study cycles of the DM for preparing and carrying out their work. The offices of the teaching staff and researchers, as well as the respective support equipment, are located on the 3rd floor. On the 1st floor, in addition to the aforementioned Computing Centre, there is the Secretariat, the Director's office and the meeting room.
